Ross Distortion (Taiwan)
It has two knobs: Level and Distortion. This is a loud pedal, but it can be noisy with the gain set too high. Made in Taiwan.

I love this pedal! It is not as smooth as the USA tan box (I have both), but has a great character of its own: louder, more gritty, but still very transparent - the signature tone of the guitar is not lost. Works really well as a gain boost in front of a valve amp. Used at higher settings you can get a real 'wall of fuzz' going.
Good Points: As listed above. Best thing is the transparency of tone. Also built like a tank!
Bad Points: No power light! I fitted one to mine, it's an easy mod. But let's face it - unless it is set really low, you can tell when it's on.

This is a radical pedal. It sounds like an MXR distortion +.
Great high tone and gritty, noisy dist.
Unfort, it broke on me and I don't know much about repairing pedals.

Good Points: great sound and tonal variation.
Bad Points: You need to be careful with it.
