MXR Envelope Filter
User Reviews of the MXR Envelope Filter:
Submitted by Jesse from Turku (6 points) on Dec 4, 2003:
Well it's what I would call '_THE_ porn bass sound'.

I bought it still wrpped in shrinkwrap in 1993 from a pawnshop in a small village far up in north Finland. It was like time would have stood still in that shop for 20 years. I guess they mostly sold harmonicas and violas.. ;) Well I got it almost for free. (mine does not have a led on it)

MXR made nice little pedals in the 70s. The sound is pleasant, unlike many later evenlope filter.

Good Points: Nice sound. Good tone.

Bad Points: lack of controls (resonance mostly). The filter goes always 'up', no reverse.
