Excellent muddy analog delay for those on a budget. Tweaking the trim pot is a must and results in longer delay but decreased quality of echoes. A fun pedal to kick around.
Good Points: Built like a tank, easy to access the trim pot internally. Quality knob affects clarity of echoes/repeats. Inexpensive.
Bad Points: I can't get it to oscillate - using the regen knob or otherwise. The mix is sensitive--after about 10% you get nearly 90% echo and no dry signal.

Muddy muddy muddy..... this was my first delay pedal and I stil break it out occasionally. Useful for sludging up a signal but the shoddy construction (even though it's made of metal) means that I wouldn't necessarily trust it.....
Good Points: - Super cheap on e-bay.
- Great for warmish sludgy echo.
- Didn't notice any lreal oss of volume.
Bad Points: -Bad constrcution (the knobs and pedal thumbscrew loosen very easily).
- Maximum delay time isn't much to rave about.

This was my first pedal (I'm a youngster..) and I have used it a good bit... It does NOT have 800ms, but 300... It can be moded by fiddling with the trim pot, which gets it to 500ms, or somewhere in that range... I have to disagree with the last comment on it's durability... I've probed this and cut half the wires (they're soldered/taped together now) and I've spilled liquid on it, dropped it (not on some hard ass concrete or anything, mind you) and it works fine... Sounds muddy, yes... but it isn't meant to sound clean. durr..
Good Points: very stong, can be found cheaply on ebay, makes nice swirrling noises when you mess with the time knob, can get up to 500 ms of delay.
Bad Points: sometimes the "muddiness" is a problem, I use it so much it seems to be OVERUSED sometimes... a little goes a long way... it uses batteries pretty quickly.

put it on the mixer send but return it to it's own chanel and use the send knob as a feedback and you will get super warm dub swells. I droped one and it died, so i got another one.
Good Points: cheepish analog, lp filt in the feedback
Bad Points: fragile.

This is a great cheap analog delay that works well with any of my toys and gear. You can mix it into any setup and great some great effects. By the way, for those who complain about the time. Do a little research, you can open this pedal up and tweak the time by a nice margin. First thing I did after I tried it out.
Good Points: Great price, sturdy, tweakable delay time, versatile and always fun to twist the knobs for the subtle stuff.
Bad Points: There are no drawbacks. Sparkle Girl long admitted to their fetish of and addiction to delay. Noise musicians I know crave delay like crack and trade tales of the cheapest delay pedal they ever got. But it! It's cheap!

personally, i fuggin love this pedal. then again, i have all switches cranked, except for the time knob, which is to the far left. which means that i dont get any of the delay effect, just a sound that makes my pick-ups sound like a couple of tin cans. the strings become super sensitive to touch (and therefore noisemaking), giving me the sharp, left of center tone im looking for.
Good Points: killer tone!! the delay effect, when i decide to use it, is good, completely original analog sounding tone, with i think 800ms of replay time. not much, but it does the trick.
Bad Points: listen to these ******* bitch about muddiness! why would you buy an analog pedal if you were concerned with muddiness? i love this thing.

i grabbed one of these off of eBay a while back. as the previous reviewer noted, it tends to have a muddy sound, especially with the Tape Quality knob fully down - it really drops the highs and sludges the lows. 800ms of delay isn't enough, but it works well enough. i woulda preferred 1.5s with the actual sound this puts out. it does sound very nice after some hefty distortion.
Good Points: blend, repeat and delay time are all pretty smooth so tweaking sounds clean. i dig the action on the stomp, it is surprisingly soft. a nice echo sound.
Bad Points: muddy sound and dropping the highs when reducing the Tape Quality. plus, it is an ugly purple and feels kinda "light". might be getting a paint job from me soon..

This pedal I thought would be a nice addition to my setup but I find that it has a very muddy output. It's real analog and it has a low pass filter on it so you can make it sound like classic delay pedals, but i don't hear much difference between the extreme left setting and the extreme right setting. It's got a nice delay sound though, but like i said it's too weak. I'm still experimenting with it though to see if I can find a good use for it, if not i'm probably going to take it apart and try to make it do something its not suppose to do.
Good Points: It'll work in your Boss power supply chain. It's got nice analog warping sounds when you change the speed. It's heavy duty like boss pedals.
