Electro Harmonix Small Clone EH4600
Electro Harmonix Small Clone EH4600 The Electro Harmonix Small Clone EH 4600 is a smooth sounding chorus pedal that's super easy to use. The pedal has a single RATE knob as well as a DEPTH switch. With the DEPTH switch up, you can get a deeper chorus and the RATE knob can be tweaked to produce everything from a nice subtle warbling to full out wobble. When the DEPTH switch is in the the down position, the effect cuts the amount of the modulation for a more subtle chorus effect. The Small Clone actually mixes the modulated signal in with some direct signal making for an interesting doubling effect that sounds very smooth and natural.

I've never been a huge fan of chorus effects, they never really grabbed me as being useful. The Small Stone however is something else. A gift from a friend of a friend, I used this pedal to get that real 'underwater' sound. This pedal deals really well with high end. I can't get enough of the depth switch either, when used in a floop it gives some epic room-filling sounds.

Good Points: These things are surprisingly heavy-duty,
cheap (even though mine was free) :D
all analog baby!

Bad Points: No faults other than the paint on this one is starting to flake.

This pedal sounds awesome!Simple to use since it only has a switch for the depth and a knob for the rate.I would give this pedal an overall rateing of 8 on a scale of 1 to 10.

Good Points: Its defiantly worth the money for the sound quality, which ranges from delicate and spacey to warbily tremelo effect. It has a lush warmth that you just cant get from some of the popular brands.Dont trust anyones opinoin though check it out for yourself, shop around. Also its pretty affordable if you shop around for a little while youll be bound to catch a sale.Runs on 9volt or an adapter.

Bad Points: There are some weird problems with this pedal though. For one thing the second day I had it,it just stopped working!I opened the back to find a wire just hanging loose! And the circuit board is just sort of floating around only held in by the rate knob pot!so it moves around a little which can cause wires to break loose eventually,so be prepared to fix this pedal or have someone fix it for you. Also the metal casing seems a little thin.Making you a little uneasy about stomping on it.
