This pedal has 4 controls: "sweet" (gain), "pulp" (bass), "tang" (treble), and "juice" (distortion). All controls work exactly as they should, providing clearly audible changes in tone. This is a pedal designed for a very specific purpose - to add distortion to an already distorted amplifier, while supplying enough of the original signal to still drive the amplifier.
