A good delay to use in a series with other delays. On its own, the delays a too short, and just a bit muddy. Not analog muddy either, but kind of a digital clipping on low frequencies. This clipping gets more exagerated when you crank the tape quality knob. This knob rolls off the highs ,and adds more low frequency clipping (an effect that isn't without its use). But if it is used in conjunction with another delay it starts to shine. The combination will yield large, spacey sounds. Great for adding depth to an otherwise flat sounding track. Not an especially good pedal to do live edits with (knobs aren't all that responsive). Best used as a general purpose thickener in a chain with other delays. Oh, and you'll need a power supply, it eats batteries.
Good Points: Reacts well with ohter delays. The tape quality knob can add little low frequency distortion. While no longer made, they are cheap and common.
Bad Points: Delays are short. Knobs are not very responsive. Eats batteries.
