DOD Compressor Sustainer FX80-B
The FX80B produces longer tones by automatically increasing the gain as the tone decays. It can reduce dynamic range, or limit volume peaks. Get a more even, larger professional sound with the FX80B Compressor/sustainer.

Picked this up years ago from some random dude selling all his pedals (may've been my third pedal) and took it apart within 6 months after that to use the enclosure and the knobs for other projects. You don't need this for noise. Why bother? Remember it acting mostly as a gate and volume control.
Good Points: Er.. none?
Bad Points: Yeah. Marginally useful. Not worth the weight to stick in your gig bag.

I owned a used one of these YEARS ago and didn't find much use for it. I'm sure it's better suited for guitar but doesn't add much to noise applications, just like ANY compressor wouldn't (in my limited experience of tweaking)
Good Points: solid DOD construction, many adjustable features
Bad Points: doesn't do much for noise applications
Price Paid: US$20.00

Got this as part of an ebaydeal. Still can`t figure out how to use it in a noise kind of setting though. It can add some tone to the sound but it is lost when I crank a powerfull Boss MT-2, DOD Grunge FX69-B or Dod Death Metal FX86-B. Because of this it has ended up in a drawer just occasionally used for mainstream guitar. I would not buy another sustainer for use in a noise setting.
Good Points: Can add tone.
Bad Points: Drowns and is not really good for noise.
Price Paid: US$15.00
