Awesome Awesome Awesome! the amount of insanity this adds to your rig is ENORMOUS! Switch from a feedback loop to a contact mic ran through pedals! switch from one floop to another! switch from detuned radio static to a microphone! Take one input and put differant effects on the two outputs! INSANE!!! buy it.Seriously.

Good Points: Everything. This box contains a little bit of heaven.Simplicity+utility=perfection.

Bad Points: Absolutely none. This is by far one of the few pedals i own i would consider a NECCESITY.

i got this because switching between lines is very necessary. As nkondi said, basically you can cut and paste different sounds together using pure analog style! my philosophy is: the more dimensions you add to your sound, the better your sound will be. For the price i paid for it, i could deal with it's quirks, but i've moved on to an a/b/y and i've also started making them myself. but this is certainly a good place to start.

Good Points: cheap enough, solid metal dod construction(mine is actually one of the old school tan and black ones)

Bad Points: volume loss out of one side, but if you put your louder chain through the quieter one, you really don't notice.

great fun can be had with this thing. there are some great possibilites, but id hate to give away some of my best secrets, so ill let you figure it out yourselves. if you want to add a little more dynamic to your sound, but dont want to futz around with a computer this will do som nice cut an paste work for you. as for volume loss, i havent experienced any of this, but mine was new old stock...

Good Points: decent build

Bad Points: none really

I was looking at the design of this. Its much like the 250 but... heres the difference... This one sucks. The signal gets weaker and weaker the more you use it. I admit it, I was impressed when I first bought it. But it seemed after each week went by, this thing sucked my volume even more.

Good Points: Sturdy... BOX.

Bad Points: Electronics need some work to stay good. The switch is kind of weak, I had to replace it, but now it works fine. I would say alittle too much work for a DOD A/B switckh.

What I have is the 270 A/B box w/ the blue and gray paint scheme. Owned it for several years already and only recently begun to experience some flakiness w/ the switch, as if it isn't completely switching from one "channel" to the other, which can be either quite interesting or completely annoying depending on how it is being used. I'm using mine in a 2 in 1 out config to switch between a feedback loop and external sound sources. It can also be used to split an incoming signal to 2 outs switchable between a and b. Only other thing to mention is that it's a passive device, completely unpowered. Very simple but suprisingly useful in the right context.

Good Points: solid construction and fairly reliable, either use as 2 in 1 out or 1 in 2 out configuration, unpowered so you don't have to worry about replacing batteries or plugging in a power supply which could be used for another pedal

Bad Points: switch on mine getting flakey after several years of use, but I did buy it used and some may not view it as a bad point

i got one of these to choose between 2 chains of pedals, and it has been nothing but a problem since day one. the switch on it is a cheap mexican made arrow DPDT stomp switch, which ive never had a problem with until this. When i use it, itll cut the level of one signal path in half and kill the tone of the other. i have tried all kinds of differnt combinations with this, and the only good thing i can use it for is a mute switch. i originally got it a long time ago so i could copy it and use the circuit to build several of my own a/b pedals

Good Points: its in a touch metal case

Bad Points: the jacks suck and the switch sucks. build your own! ill give you the schematics! nemo_rock@hotmail.com
