Daphon Distortion E20DS
Daphon Distortion E20DS The Daphon Distortion E20DS is a versatile distortion pedal that can be tweaked to produce a myriad of outstanding distortion sounds. The TONE knob allows you to dial in everything from warm distortion to high-end grit. Features an extra heavy duty metal enclosure with a rubber underside to prevent sliding. Operates with either a 9 volt battery (included) or a standard 9 volt DC negative tip 'barrel' type adapter.

not too bad for aussie dollars. very sturdy casing and the led indicator is easy to see when on. has a really nice tone which is perfect for your standard heavy/alternate rock and is nice and clear for use with full chords not just those boring powerchords. doesnt have a very wide range of distortion however with the minimum setting still quite overdriven and once it goes past the half way mark the sound has too much gain and is a bit noisy for my liking. the tone knob is standard offering your standard wooly bluesey tones to more crisp and solo suitable tones. i actually think the tone is better than my Boss dual overdrive pedal which lacks the higher frequencies when on the full distortion setting. compared with the 0 plus youd pay for a Boss pedal you cant go wrong with this product

Good Points: nice tones
good overdrive pedal

Bad Points: limit range of sounds
