I am reviewing the new E20CS.
For 25 dollars US dollars(purchased here in china) it s a decent Compressor. The new E20 series is not cheap plastic, but rugged metal! the knobs are solid and stay where you put them.
I prefer the old boss cs-1 but i like this better than the later boss compressor. the reason is that although compression is NOT supposed to color the sound, the cs-1 and the daphon DO, in a good way. The compression is not all that evident, but cranking the Sustain knob (past 3/4) adds some 'edge' that i like

Good Points: great Price. Solid, nice 'click" on-off. colors the sound in a subtle , edgy way
tone
Bad Points: weird the COMP knob does nothing much, (but the SUSTAIN does...)
Price Paid: US$25.00
Purchased At: chinese music store
