It doesn't need to be said AGAIN but:

BUY THIS NOW AND HOOK IT UP TO AN ELECTRIC TYPEWRITER OR MICROWAVE OR YOUR VIBRATING ANUS...

It's 20 bucks, even if you don't end up liking contact mic stuff, you're only out a couple of Dano Cool Cats.

Good Points: It works great, you can't complain about something that works as well as a product of it's type CAN work.
Bad Points : Not enough shit to hit.

This is the first contact mic I've bought. It will be the
only contact mic I ever buy because this thing seems
to be immortal. Not just a drum trigger being sold as
a contact mic like so many others. Try holding it to
your throat and speaking for some spooky looking
    vocals.
I don't think there is anyone out there who won't
agree with me saying that this is the best contact mic
you can buy for sound quality, durability, and price.

Good Points: -not just another drum trigger
    -dare I say indestructible?
Bad Points : -almost too sensitive (but thats not necessarily bad for
    everyone)

picked up this and the Plug Ugly 2 from NoiseFX recently. Crank makes really really great stuff, from what i can tell. these mics feel like they will last a long time, unlike the other contact mics ive had.

This is my first contact mic, and I love the sensitivity
and volume of the mic. Scraping sounds in particular
    come through clearly.

For quieter settings, I do find the need to use a
limiter of some sort with it

This is probably one of the better built contact mics I've
come across, with a great range in frequency. The piezo
element is quite large thus the good sound, and it pics
up well. On the other hand the element is large and can
hurt ones mouth if they are prone to put these things in
said orrifice. All around one of my go to mics if I am
having issues with something else that has a mic...

I got this from RRR and it works amazingly well. I have purchased other contact mics off Ebay, and built my own , but none of those can hold a candle to this badboy. The disc is 1.5 inch's which is half an inch bigger than your typical mic. Very well built with quality components. All i can do is recommend these to any and every noise head. Excellent contact mic!!!!

Good Points: the design is wonderful. very distinctive. something about the glue. or whatever that is. 1/4 jack is very nice.
Bad Points : cable not that long. if length of cable is going to be an issue then it would probably be better to buy the crank contact mic w/ a female 1/4.

This thing is one of my favorite pieces of gear. I purchased it after many many failed attempts at making my own contact mic. The first chance I got to use it, I was blown away with the sounds I got from it as well as it's sturdy quality.

Pratically unbreakable , which is a very good thing about a contact mic .
Shove it down your throat or under your feet and it will still keep on working

It gets the job done. Hook this up to an overdrive of some kind and you will be amazed at what this puppy can kick out. I was using it to demo the digitech grunge in a store, someone described the sound as "the last sound you hear before an alien eats you."

    It is cheap. Get it.

Well, it's a contact mic. There's not a whole lot of grey area here; either it works or it doesn't. Mine works.
