benders schematics I've seen are not the real deal if you come and seen the old sola sound I have you'll make
a fortune cause it was as still is the best
sound ever from 60/78 i was king cream & hendrix in my own right i' fed up with listening to comments from guys who dont even know what they are talking about I had no mentors to advise me what thwe geaf was needles to say I had marshall stack & plxie 100w rangemaster toneber point is come and see inners of tone to finally dispel the myhts
of the tone bender original cos believe me none of the schematic I've ever seen is like the best fuzz tone ever

enormo-sound fuzz with giant nads.easy to coax all kinds of grinding nonsense with this, but the battery access is a pain in the arse and mine came with a hole drilled for the barrel jack but no connectors for it inside(!)

knobs on it aren't the best and the casing doesn't feel very reliable, plus as the gent said before,it's massive and takes up LOADS of space on the board.if you need a fuzz with a good range of tones from foul megabass to rasping trebly grit get a D.A.M. Sonic Titan or a Double Muff.

Good Points: Giant sound, looks like intercourse, sturdy footswitch...

Bad Points: ...ass casing, giant box(which has hardly anything in it),swallows batteries whole in a matter of days

I have had this thing for ages. I Love the sound, great for chords/rythm guitar. Each string remains recognisable. Very forgiving with sloppy technique. Funky harmonics. Lots of character. Not a lot of sustain.I used to use it with a splitter together with staight sound. One trick pony though.Due to mechanical properties I use a RAT nowadays.

Good Points: great "balls" sexy porn sound.

Bad Points: It's way too big. It's flimsy. The thin sheet metal bottom plate has to be "pried off" to replace the battery. My mediocre soldering has not done it very well. Ruins your dynamics. Tone knob could be more effective.
