Boss Harmonist HR-2
Boss Harmonist HR-2 The HR-2 offers two-voice, intelligent pitch shifting. It can add one or two voices of harmony, and you can select any major or minor key with the mode dial. The interval and volume of each harmony can be independently adjusted. The intervals of each voice can be adjusted to +/- one octave from the root signal.

Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price: $130.00

this has to be the least dsireable pitch shifter made by boss, for pitch shifting that is. if you put it in a feedback loop youll find long sequences of notes and chords. the words "organ from hell" might give you an idea of what it sounds like.

Good Points: -wierd patterns of notes/chords in a feedback loop.
-has an alright octave upper/downer or chorus settings.

Bad Points: -intelligent pitch shifting doesnt track all that well.

Just like the previous reviewer...not much to expect out of this particular pedal...the effect is really subtle. There aren't a lot of really interesting features to even bother getting this pedal.

Good Points: Does have two outputs..each voice has their own pitch settings.

Bad Points: the effect doesn't seem very spectacular to even bother getting one.

Sorry to have to say it, but this is strictly a guitarist's pedal, I bought this thinking it would be similar to the PS-3, but was extremely disappointed. There are a couple of settings that give detuned and flanger-like effects, but better to buy a flanger and chorus pedal, you'll have more options. It will get you that -2 octave rumble as well, which might be enough for some, though at 0+ it should be able to more than two or three tricks. For that money you'd be better served searching out a used Ps-3.

Good Points: Not many

Bad Points: Limited usefulness
