Got it second hand and returned it the day after, utterly useless for anything but detailed studio work as it is very, very subtle. If you really need a chorus and you find this cheap then get it, but donŽ´t expect anything beyond plain chorusing.

Good Points: ItŽ´s a Boss, and good at what it is for...

Bad Points: ...but chorus is kinda useless for harsher work.

Chorus pedals are hard to use for noise since their main purpose is to make things sound calm and nice. As this goes its not too bad. I've heard worse and I've heard better. The EQ section is good and useful for sculpting the sound, and it's good for adding a bit of movement to ethereal sounds.

As with all stereo pedals it is very useful as a feedback loop creator.

The shining point of this pedal is that you can put a naked patch lead into the second output and make a genuine pitch vibrato pedal. It is fairly easy to hard wire it to make it a vibrato fulltime. It is hard to get a pitch vibrato at a decent price and you can make all the seasick sounds here. This makes the CE5 well worth owning for a noisician

Good Points: Pitch Vibrato!
Floop creator
EQ

Bad Points: Chorus.

the pedals is sweet. throw it in between some distortion, and that evil scream will become ten evil screams. and it was cheap too.

Good Points: cheap.

Bad Points: not enough knobs.
