While I haven't been a fan of other chorus pedals in noise contexts, I really enjoyed this one in the middle of a small feedback loop. It added a very controllable murkiness to things and worked very well with the Boss Metal Zone. No tinny sounds from this pedal.

i actually found this pedal to be a good friend of mine. i use it quite a bit and it works perfectly fine for me. if you take it apart, you can adjust things in it and thats how mine is so nice. you can also try for the keeley mod if you interested. i dont have it on mine but i think i would like too. www.robertkeeley.com

Chorus pedals arn't that good for noise. This does thicken the sound quite well and it adds a bit of boost to the signal, so you get a hotter signal. But it still gets lost behind distortion. Still quite subtle.

I didn't think that this pedal would be very good for noise, but I was pleasantly surprised with the results I got with this. It's a great all purpose signal thickener with the rate knob set low and the depth knob set high. Works especially well when used in conjunction with a couple of other modulation type effects (all set at different rates, natch'). Can breathe a little life into a static track. As an added bonus, there are so many of these damn things out there that they tend to be cheap as hell. The only improvement I could think of for this pedal would be stereo outs.

Good Points: Cheap. Good to thicken things up a bit. Works well when used with other modulation effects.
Bad Points : Can be a bit subtle for noise. Mono.

Good pedal if you're looking for a basic chorus pedal but if you already own a multi fx processor, this pedal is not necessary. Adds some depth to your sound. Good for clean sounds but not that necessary for making noise :-) The newer Boss Chorus would be more powerful for sound creation.

Good Points: Strong build like all Boss pedals. Runs on battery or mains power. Simple to use.
Bad Points : Not an extreme chorus by any standards.
