Easily my favorite analog delay, sound-wise, and very cheap. I own two, and I want more. Very good self-oscillation: not too brutal, relatively controllable, but still very nasty. As a delay, it's murky, but not too murky, dark but not too dark. What I like most about the delay's tone is that it isn't pristine digital delay, nor is it distorted. A lot of analog delays that I've owned/used have repeats that are just a little grittier than the original signal; this one is very spacey and dark. It adds a lot of depth to the signal, and doesn't clutter it too badly, like a lot of delays do. It's the perfect tool for adding depth to a one-dimensional chain/sound/sample/what have you.

Good Points: Very cheap.
Self-oscillates very nicely, easily, and controllably.
Very nice sound.
Can run for awhile on batteries, if you're so inclined.
Stereo outputs, one of them with the option of dry/wet (with a switch).

Bad Points: Short delay time (but that's to be expected).
Not the best construction.

I love this pedal. I own three. Easily the
best analog delay pedal out there for the
money. The money, I say. As in, it's
cheap!

Good Points: Great sounding delay and awesome
delay-tweaking sounds. Can you say
whirly-spaceship sounds? Hell yeah!

Bad Points: Uh, it's plastic. The pots are more like
high-end trim pots soldered direct to the
circuit board, so they wear out and get
wobbily. Still, if you're gentle with it, it's
treat you well.

Not the best delay pedal and not totally good for Noise, but it can add some cool tones to any sort of music, and gives a very spaced-out delay effect in lower settings. Would work great in a noisy pedal chain.

Good Points: Pretty cheap.
Does exactly what its supposed to.
Easy battery input.

Bad Points: Not as noisy as other delays.
One-trick pony.

This pedal works great as a feedback
tone generator. I use it as the initial
sound producing object in an longer
effects chain. Simply plug out 1 into its
in, and your set. The manufactures
suggestion is that AC adaptors should
provide this pedal with 9v of power. I
think this suggestion is limiting. Go for
12v. You'll thank yourself. Also, for this
application, I would recommend setting
the "direct/stereo" to direct, re: more
punchy. Use the depth knob to "edge
into" the feedback tone, and the delay
time knob to "tune" the tone. Also,
sweeping the delay time is quite
rewarding. Try moving to "0" (shortest
time), holding for a second or two, and
then quickly twisting the knob to the
opposite extreme. This produces great
full, bassy "wobbly" sounds. Also, quickly
turning the pedal on and off with depth
and repeat on high can produce nice,
unique "stuttering" sounds.

Good Points: Cheap, loud, gritty and full in tone.

Bad Points: The cheap plastic knobs tend to fall off.
Footpedal on/off interface isn't very
ergonomic in tabletop situation.

not as good as their delay/sampler since it doesnt have the range of that great pedal...but its great as feedback starting point...like the previous review said, putting a delay behind it would do nice things to its fast noises...deffinately worth every penny.

Good Points: still being made, and deffinately worth it since it feedsback into itself so nicely...

Bad Points: plastic, but not as bad as some of the others ive purchased in this line...

Great for that low pass repeater sound, great tone when you want it... And great delay feed back also!.. Just set the repeats to max, and the level at max then fiddle with the depth = Earth Shattering Feedback (sound great with another delay after in the chain....

Good Points: Great noise when you want it, Great tone when you want it also... Delay feedback rocks...

Bad Points: Its made out of plasic....
